The following list should explain what to expect and what NOT to expect if you decide to use me for your occasion:

What to expect

What NOT to expect

What? Instrumental versions of popular Hawaiian songs; background for your get-together; great for chatting and becoming acquainted without having to "talk over the band"

I do not sing, play country tunes or blues, or serve as a stand-up comedian; I do nothing that distracts or discourages your guests from mingling

Who?

Low-cost solo musician

Less economical multi-musician band, Polynesian dancers, torch jugglers, drums, etc.
When? Outdoor events, cocktail parties, weddings, anniversaries, company sabbaticals, etc. Rock fests, blues festivals, "jam sessions"
Where? Indoor or outdoors, at the beach or at the park, whether electrical power is available or not accessible... in the Greater San Diego area (although a small surcharge may be necessary if beyond 20 miles from Downtown San Diego)

At a stadium or any large, loud venue
How? I play to pre-recorded tracks; I remain seated so as not to disturb or inconvenience your guests Distracting movements, intrusive sound, obnoxious behavior
How Much? Please email me at craig@craigprior.com for a quote and please be sure to specify the following:
  • Date
  • Time
  • Duration
  • Location
  • Type of event
An unreasonable amount
Why? I'm there to provide a tropical feel so your guests can sway or dance; all at a very low cost, indoors or outdoors, with or without electrical outlets Loud, annoying, distracting "music" that inhibits your guests' enjoyment of their event
